MP3 Monday sc0rpius vs iopha
Alright…
So this is a tough one because I know Iopha finds obsure kick ass music and I have to rely on oldies most of the time. I think these songs are all worth a download and definitely a listen.
Let’s start things off with some heavy fucking riffs.
Snake River Conspiracy is a kick ass band with some tight songs. A new album should be coming out soon actually and I’m very much looking forward to it. For now here’s Snake River Conspiracy with “Oh Well”.
I gave the recent Tool album a chance despite the less-than-good reviews it received from a friend of mine. I really like it. Maynard James Keenan seems to be trying different things with his voice but I am now getting use to it. This song is too big to be uploaded to
mp3monday@gmail.com and so I have to use yousendit. Click, download and listen to
Rosetta Stoned by Tool. I won’t bore anyone with
Smashing Pumpkins this time. … But I will make you roll your eyes at some Billy Corgan stuff. Last summer he released a solo album which was hailed by the media but not very popular. I don’t give a shit. I liked it. It was better than Zwan. Here’s the single, Walking Shade, from Billy Corgan’s solo album; The Future Embrace. The
video is really cool.
I don’t remember who sent me this stuff originally but it was someone at work. I can’t find much about it…also I am the lazy and don’t really feel like spending an hour googling them. So I have nothing to say except that I like them. Here is Stimulator by Elocia.
Violent Work of Art has been rocking me for a while now. Totally badass band. I've posted some before but here's some more. Give Sharing my Disease a listen.
Dropkick Murphys' Cadence to Arms rocks my world. Yes...I like Dropkick Murphys...Not their entire repertoire mind you. This
video rocks even more just because of Starbuck.
