Gasp!
Yes, it's true.......I'm updating my journal (and it's not a quiz)!
Who knows maybe I can actually make this a habit........hahahaha pry not......... I'll give it a try though.
So here goes my eventful summer (hahahah). The first part of my summer was crazy busy, but not altogether too interesting. Really it felt more like school in a different place. I took two classes, Business Law and Accounting II. Accounting was surprisingly not too bad. I still dispise it but the prof was nice and really helped everyone to understand. Law was quite a boring class, but I had an interesting time writing the paper for the class. We had to go sit in on a court case for 5 hours (i know...ug)and I went with a few friends to the Oakland County Court House. The first one we sat in on was a murder trail and the guys were definatly in shackles! The second one was a medical malpractice case and Jeffrey Feiger was the defense attourney. Anyway, I'm done now and glad to have a brain break for awhile.
I also had a bit of craziness with jobs too. Three jobs in one summer lol. First, I got a job offered at a golf course, which was only for two days a week and one ended up the same day as one of my classes. Had to turn down that job. Second job I landed was at the Holly Hotel, which is prolly what I told a lot of you about. However that was the craziest job I've ever had. lol I'm glad I did it for a few days though, it was a good learning experience. I worked like 12 hour days at this place where i could barely pronounce the food, much less remember what it was. It was quite stressful. However, while I was there I found out that a marketing research firm near me was hiring and thought that would sound better on my resume. So I quit Holly Hotel and have been working at Cunningham (the marketing research place) for the remainder of the summer. It is the most boring job in the world, but hey, money is money i guess.
So goes my life for the past few weeks. Last week I went up north with Faith and her family and we had bunches of fun, but now i'm back to the grind. I'm going to Chicago with my family at the begining of August and also doing a few random other fun things throughout the rest of my summer vaca (so that I don't die of bordem). OOOHH and HP6 is coming out on the 16th! I'm soooooooooo excited! (shush)
