(no subject)
Well here it is, another day, another dollar. ;) Actually, all kidding aside, today hasn't been *too* bad. My best friend got some great news today...she and her fiancee have been approved to go to the next step in their journey to have him immigrate here from Jamaica. She's only been waiting, I dunno, roughly 80-odd days or so for it to happen. So, very happy about that and for them. :D The other good news that I got is that I have an "email interview" for a company for a security officer/protective agent job. I'm sure it sounds much more impressive than it really is. But, it's another step in the process of leaving C******. And that makes me very, very happy.
And this weekend I have to go to a bachelorette party for one of my high school friends this weekend. That ought to be interesting, if not amusing. I'm a horrible drinker. My face gets all red, I get headaches, not a pretty sight. So I think I'll be shying away from alcoholic beverages then. Besides, someone has to be sober...right? The only bad part about this weekend? My boyfriend isn't happy about me going away, but, there's always other weekends to spend with him. *sigh* And that, my lovely LJ'ers, is my week in a nutshell.
