Not what I needed

I'm typically a positive person — I've even been called a Pollyanna on occasion. So I don't typically sit about think, gee, how could things be worse? What stuff would I really rather not have happen right now?

Don't you love it when it sweeps the household like that? Bill and I have been trading some sort of virus for weeks now. I hope everything calms down. I hate throwing up.

What I really dislike is when an illness takes long enough to get from person #1 to person #4 that person #1 starts the cycle over. I hope you and Bill are both feeling tip top sooner rather than later!

I did get my wish for last night, nice and quiet thankfully. So tonight, while we were at my brother's house, Nora decided to jump off a rather high surface and did something to her leg, foot or ankle. So far it appears to be responding to the ibuprofen and there's no swelling, she's gone to sleep okay — but we're going to be keeping a very close eye on how she is tomorrow, and perhaps bring her in the the doctor's office Monday if need be.

It's always something, isn't it?
