Amari "Evil Knievel" Taylor
Spent 3 hours in the emergency room, with not even one doctor resembling Clooney, House or McDreamy to enjoy passing the time, because Amari decided she was going to do some flips near my curio cabinet. Her sister can do a cartwheel, so she felt she could too. Instead of landing on her feet, she lands on her knees. Well, in this case she had no room to do either. Right knee went into the glass at the bottom of the cabinet, taking a huge chunk out of the bottom of the glass causing it to slide down and cut her at the top of her leg as well. Two cuts, the top one pretty deep...nine stitches later, she hobbled out.
They did this thing with a pillow case where they put her arms in it behind her back and then wrap a blanket around her so she can't squirm, a make-shift straight jacket if you will, and it gave me ideas on what I could use in the future (of course I'm kidding), 5 shots of the stuff to numb her, which really hurt, and then the stitches.
Now, each child besides Sanaya has had stitches, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
