Burgundian & GFD Shape

I've been playing with making a Burgundian dress - and now that I've made both a straight front GFD (Gothic Fitted Dress) and a curved front GFD I have to wonder which would be more appropriate for the Burgundian under gown. Lucky for me, gwacie  was willing to let me play with her Burgundian overdress as a test:

Aside from the fact that you seem to have more cleavage in the curved front dress, it's hard to see a difference in the pictures.

But based on most of the illuminations I've seen my default reccomendation would have been curved-front, not that I've really considered the issue at length. Very interesting question, though!

That's the biggest difference I see - plus the side view has a bit more of a curve - which is closer to the Burgundian illuminations. But, yeah, it's pretty subtle.
