So I'm going to sum up my wonderful long weekend...

I woke up on Friday morning and almost murdered my alarm clock because I didn't want to wake up. I then went around to everyone else in my house and woke them up (okay not everyone). Then I had to call the Potter family to wake them up too. Dad took us to the airport. Our flight left at 7:30, and I learned when I went on the plane that it was Michelle's first time on an airplane. Good times. When we took off Erin Hamilton showed us how to do the little take-off hand motion thingy. Lol. When we landed it was snowing in New York! But once we were out on the streets and such it stopped snowing. We stayed at the Doubletree hotel in Times Square, which was awesome. Their cookies are yummy. We went shopping at H&M and then went on a tour of Raido City Music Hall. The Rockette that we met looked exactly like Julie Willcutts. That was kinda freaky. After that, most of us went to see Movin' Out, which was redonculously (sorry Nicle) awesome. It was pretty much just all dancing, there were very few speaking parts. I love the way Times Square looks at night.

On Saturday we met in the lobby at 9:30 and took the subway to go shopping on Canal Street. I bought three purses, a scarf to use as a headband, and a wallet. Good times on Canal Street. What I thought was the most scetchy thing was how most of the shops had these secret "back rooms" where they illegally sold Pradas and Kate Spades and such. Hehehe. It was soooooooooooooo scetchy, lol. I can't wait to go back. After that we went and saw Wicked, which is like the best performance I've ever seen. I can't wait until it comes to Atlanta, which will be a while. But yeah it was good. After seeing Wicked we went on a six hour bus tour of New York City. We ate dinner at the really good restaruant in Chinatown, and we took the Staton Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and the NY skyline. We got back to our hotels around 12:30. I woke up in the middle of the night with a huge charliehorse in my calf, which was not fun.

On Sunday we woke up at 7:30 to be at a 9:30 jazz class at Steps. I would have liked to shoot Mrs. Lynette for sceduling a dance class that early in the morning after the long tour the night before. The class was fun though. I enjoyed it. When we were comming back on the subway, the madness started. We attmpted to get out when we came to our stop, but not everyone got out on time. Thankfully, the doors opened up again to let everyone else out. We saw a man almost get crushed by the doors. He had to like push them open so he could get out. Then, not even 5 minutes later, we're crossing the street, and this bus randomly decides to go and almost ran over half of our group! Yeah, that wasn't cool. After we checked out of our rooms we went shopping again. We went to Forever 21 and Macy's. Macy's is HUGE! After shopping we went back to the hotel and crashed in the lobby for over an hour. Our feet hurt soooo much. Then we took a bus to Newark for our flight. I called my dad when we landed and he had to take my mom to the hospital because she was having bad stomach pains. So Mommy Strothers came to pick us up instead. I got home at like 12:45 and fell asleep almost instantly.

I ended up sleeping in and missing my first 3 periods of the day. But it's all good because dad called me in late.

I'm tired now, goodnight.
