I'm writing a paper right now on Chaucer's "The Book of the Duchess". The poem is about a guy who can't sleep so he starts reading a book. After a while, he falls asleep on top of his book and has a strange dream about a black knight who blabs on and on about how sad he is (the medieval version of Death Cab for Cutie). So here I am reading the poem and...I fell asleep. Ironic that I would fall asleep reading a poem about a guy who falls asleep while reading. And who says literature doesn't imitate life?

Now if only I could figure out a topic to write this paper on...
