I put a bunch of photos up at http://boyko.fotopic.net/c919572.html. Some are ones I posted earlier and others are new.
Jamie is such a big lummox. It's odd how in some respects he seems late (long fingernails, large size) and in others he seems a little early (fine hair on face and back, blueish fingernails). In this picture you can see some of the hair on his back.. he takes after his dad!
He hadn't been having very much milk, but at about 10:30 this evening he had a good 15-20 minute feed. The trick is to keep irritating him enough that he stays awake and keeps at it. Thank you nurse Carolyn for showing us that!
Chrissie is doing very well and is off the IV. She has some discomfort from the incision, naturally, but she's already noticing that the swelling she had pre-birth is going down. I even noticed her feet weren't quite as swollen as they have been.
The two of them were snuggling at about 11 PM when I left.. I'll be back tomorrow at 10 and I hope to post some more information later tomorrow. For now, I'm off to bed.
