Kung Fu - Skipped again. I find it increasingly hard to leave my pregnant wife alone in the house. Whether this is just common sense or some sort of hormone-fuelled paranoia is still up in the air.
Guitar - I'd taken a few days off, so I practiced some of my longer songs and some 1-4-5 moveable 7th chord blues riffs. My hand started aching pretty fast; probably because I was using the acoustic. Still no new songs to show for my efforts, but my chord changes are getting smoother.
Writing - Thought a lot about the novel last night. No actual word count, but valuable work. This went in two phases:
1) Started researching 1934. Made a calendar. Found a ton of useful setting info, like how much different cars cost, info about the grasshopper plagues and dust storms. Ordered a 1933 Texas road map.
2) Thought about the structure, and why all the sudden my secondary characters are dominating. I realized that I'd temporarily run out of conflicts for my main group. I've also been feeling a little plot-less, and it feels like it's time I should know where the heck this is going AND how its going to get there. So I started breaking what I have so far into overall segments and figuring out how they link up with my future ideas.
Game Company - We got our emails up and running and we have a
coming-soon page up at the website address. Baby steps, I know, but exciting anyway. Also, we have proofed the new layout files for the TriO(tm) Card Game. It's back at the artist for final edits, and then we will send it off to the printer/distributor.
