I didn't make it to bed at 10 last night, so Goal #5 is dead. I'll restate it for Monday alone.
Quick Family Research update:
I'm finding more and more resources on tracking down Native American ancestry. Problem is I need more corroborative stories on my great-great Grandmother.
I need to find a family bible or a family history somewhere. Something closer to the source time. To complicate things, I have confirmed now that there are at least three *different* Eliza Niells living in Wood County Texas in the time period in question. Two of them in the same town and the same age, but married to two differnt husbands with two different sets of children. The third is a widow and twenty years older. And the two that AREN'T my ancestor both live past 1900. So I can toss the slim chance of her leading a double life out the window. There was definitly a corpse in the coffin.
Yeesh. Why does this have to be so hard? :)
