Native American kick
Been on a Native American binge recently. I think it's in relation to a story that I'm writing set in South Texas. Or it may just be a stirring in the alluvial brain matter.
Anyway, I watched "A Man Called Horse" last night, and it was fun. But need research materials on Texas Apaches in the 1800s (specifically Lipan Apaches) and Comanches. I've found the nation websites and a few on the languages, but I need to know about ceremonies and details of the plains culture and thought.
I don't know why I need to know them. I just believe I do.
