Did pretty good this weekend, considering my Grandfather's 90th Birthday was Sunday.
Writing
Friday: +750 words on that same section of Chapter three, fixing it again.
Then again on Saturday. GRR.
Felt stuck on novel, so +1,250 words on a new short story last night (Sunday). It's very atmospheric and based very strongly off my grandmother's house, but I've gotten to a spot where I don't know what happens next and I don't want it to feel fake.
+2,250 on rewriting an old Short Short story this morning (Mondays are quite nice when you've taken the day off work and take the laptop somewhere without internet!). About halfway through with that one. Basically I'm just bringing the imagery up to my new quality standard so far, and fine-tuning the paragraphs so they don't sag. The real problem with the story is the ending, which I still don't know how to fix... but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Friday I played around on the guitar and had some fun.
Saturday, taught Kendra a little bit of "Ode to Joy".
Sunday, played around a little again.
Nothing so far today.

Did the long class on Saturday, but that's all I've done this week.
Should go to class tonight, but I sometimes skip when I have the day off.
