And on Sunday she rested.....
Thank god the past couple days are over....
Since the beginning of last week I've been preparing (with the help of my mum and sis) for the bridal shower that my sis and I are in. Well it happened yesterday; but not before much laboring.
1. Spent last week trying to figure out the favor situation...figured it out thursday night.
2. Decided to become Sprout: I made the cake for the shower myself. Baked the cake in the morning on friday. Then had to get some pics developed and sent (overnight mail) for my MIL.
3. Came home after sending pics, to find that a shit load of misc. yard work needed to be done. So Lucas and I helped my mom with that. Freakin took us 4hrs!!! Then I had to also vacuum the house and clean inside as well.
4. Came back in from outside and spent till 11pm frosting/designing the cake. (Turned out great i might add)
FEET WERE KILLING ME FROM STAND ALLLLLL DAY
5. Oh forgot that i made chocolate suckers on thursday for favors.
Sat.
1.Sis decides she doesn't need to come over early (says, "well why don't you guys start on making the lavendar saches (the favors) without me. Luckily my mum put her in her place and said, "um we've been working our asses off compared to you missy," (not in those same words.). Funny how this is always a pattern: I always end up doing the majority of work compared to my sis, who felt that running home to her husband (whom she sees everyday) took presidence over helping with this. yes she did make the chocolate rings but...Anyway that is for another posting.
2. Made turkey sandwhiches and used heart cutters to cut them out...fingers hurt afterwards. Sis made melon balls. Luckily the argentina vs mexico was on, b ut i still couldn't watch it as much as i would have liked.
3. shower came and went. Success!!!!
4. went out with bride and her fiance for dinner, but not before i napped a bit from not eating and from just being tired in general.

Resting, maybe seeing movie, watching soccer. DOING NOTHING AT ALL!
