My early Thanksgiving
A year-and-a-half ago I sent Out-of-Body to dream agent. After looking at the full, she said that while I'd given her pause, ultimately she was going to pass. Note to agents: saying "gave me pause" is as good as saying "I was this close to offering rep". Broke my heart. I tried to do a revise and submitted to her again, but I shouldn't have. It was way too soon and she passed again. So now that I've let this ms simmer and worked on it again I sent it to her again at the risk of annoying her. But I thought I had nothing to lose, why not. This was her response:

I’ve sent it to my Kindle and will try to take a look. If anything happens on it meantime, please let me know.
Not something to jump up and down about, but the first response that wasn't an immediate rejection from an agent in I don't know how long.
