Yeah, Barney doing that look-at-me two-fingers thing seemed to have stopped after the first season or so. *reminices*

He did it in the third season episode "We're Not From Here." I remember because the way Ted responds "I am looking at you" always makes me laugh. Barney does the pointing thing an extra amount in this episode though. He also says legendary a lot. I miss legendary...*reminices with you*

Hee! I recently watched the first few episodes again (converting some new people yay!), and I'm totally with you in going, QWAH!? at Marshall talking about never having been in a fight before... and then there's the part in "Best Prom Ever" where Marshall scoffs at Ted saying he totally had Marshall's back and goes, "that kid was totally like a white belt and I'm gigantic." LAWL. (PS when you gif that episode PLEASE do one of Barney grabbing the turtle head and running. More running! HILARIOUS!)

I think it's more that Marshall's never been in a physical fight with anyone other than his brothers. They don't count. Like, I used to beat up my bro all the time but I wouldn't start whaling a stranger or even a friend in public.
