I want to say that HIMYM has NEVER made me actually cry. The closest it came was the bus/reunion bit in Miracles. That just kicked me in the gut when Ted's voice broke. And I didn't ship them at the time. Actually, the opposite, I thought it was icky. Bro-cest I called it. But just the emotion in the scene and the terrible thought what he had gone through just - WHUMP.

OMG, when HASN'T this show made me cry? I can probably name one for each season.
1: The entirity of Father's Day
2: The end of Doomsday
3: Death of the Master
4: Just... End of Time. That was emotional trauma all around.
5: Eleven's bedside chat to a sleeping Amelia in The Big Bang.
There ya go. No you do not get GIFs of any of these because I do not need the whump heading into my therapist... You know, this might actually be the PERFECT time for GIFS!
