They continue to fall. The droplets falling from the sky hitting the ground with immense pressure. Soaking everything in its path to the bone. The water mixed with the early morning fog made the air seem stuffy and closed in. The rain hitting against the pale body on the ground without any sympathy.
It's a piece of art. The pale skin. The dark clothes. The light cement backsplash. The red splattered paint drops.
A beauty.
A beautiful piece.
A beauty in distress.
Just like in a gallery, the piece is off limits. No one dares to touch. Like at night when the gallery is closed, no one approaches.
Alone.
Lying there alone on the street, left to bleed and wash away in the rain. Leaving nothing behind but dull smears of colors instead of an intense red surround the beauty.
