[It's awfully cold today. The clouds are a sheet of dull grey across the sky, any moment ready to bring the first snow of the year. As though summoning winter itself, the sound of wolf howls stretches across the forest

[You may notice, my fair lady, a Nerd who has unwisely decided to put leashes on all four of his dogs to walk them around easier and they have literally dragged him here. AS the mother sits down her tail wagging and the three other dogs are sniffing her curiously, Otacon knocked his head over a tree, OVER THERE, rubbing his head for a few moment.]
[Wolfdogs? She accepts their generous affection and curiosity, taking a moment to sling her gun strap over her shoulder. Petting for everyone - for a second, until she noticed the leash. If they had leashes, it meant they were being walked. And they were being walked by...
A very familiar face. And not one she expected to see again so soon. There's guarded surprise when she speaks.]
[That voice. He'd recognize that voice and form of address everywhere. The memories were only a few months fresh, after all.]
I-i....
[OH GOD HE IS FRANTICALLY SEARCHING FOR HIS GLASSES. TO SEE IF HE'S CORRECT. Maybe he's just dreaming, maybe he just hit himself on that tree too hard and...
And then you know what, he has another pair in his pocket and he puts them on, shaking as he does so.]
[He honestly can't believe his eyes. The possibility of meeting Sniper Wolf again here had entered his mind but he had been furiously pushing it away in a bid to move on.
Suddenly, a few months of self-growing and therapy just fly out of the window and he starts crying.]
[Uh, no she wasn't, have you seen the bloody bullet holes in her clothes? Somewhat incredulous at the sight of this grown man person suddenly breaking into tears before her, Wolf stands up with her gun at ease in her hand.
She snaps at him (idiot must have gotten killed, and now they were both in A'raf).]
Don't be a fool. It is unseemly for a man to cry so openly.
[Hmph. The scientist, at least, seemed to think he knew something about this place they had both landed in. Despite herself, Wolf softened a little at the sight of him sniffling - she had to remember he was very much not a soldier. Sounding less stern than before, she humoured him.]
Very well. If this is not A'raf, then explain how I am here.
W-what if I told you magic was real? I know it sounds completely far fetched, but please here me out. I-it's not like you have anything to loose right? No wait, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way I-i.... [He could punch his own face in.]
B-b-but the point is, there are portals bringing people and creatures to a very unique school...I myself landed in a locker....and I found out the Snake here is different too and comes from a different time than me...one where Meryl survived...
[Wolf listened to all this very patiently (oh yes, she was very patient), but it wasn't making sense any faster. Time travel and magic and portals, all for some school? If she had not already known Dr. Emmerich to be a man of science, she would've just as easily written him off as a crackpot.
But, there was at least one thing that caught her understanding. Though she still had to clarify - that was the pesky thing about twins, huh.]
[Liquid's plans had no meaning here. Wherever they were. If Solid held no grudge towards her, then pursuing him again was pointless. FOXDIE, however, could still prove a problem.
(But absently, she licked her lips at the memory of that hunt. It was a potent obsession that still lingered, unsatisfied by a kill.)]
...o-oh no! My glasses!....
