So this is Smash Academy, huh? Seems like an alright place, even though it looks pretty glum from the weather. ...Is it even normal to storm like this for a week?

Dad told me there would be some Pokemon here, but I don't see any. Weird... Oh well, I'll just have to look around, I guess.

Whoa, all the way from Hoenn? That's pretty far away! I haven't been there yet, but that's up on my list to visit sometime. Someone important to me lives there. Glad to meet a trainer from that place!

Yeah, it was a pretty long walk to here, but with my Pokemon, I can pretty much go anywhere!

Pretty much research, yeah. I help out my dad with the field work, and he got a word about this place, so here I am!

[And when he hears about Pokemon turning human he just blinks. Sorry Red, he's having a hard time believing this.]

That's the same feeling I get. I can't go anywhere without my team! (It probably takes me longer to get places though. I gotta stop and battle other trainers. It makes the journey all the more fun!)

That's great that you can help your dad out! Does he do the same thing Professor Oak does? (He was here a couple of months back!)

There's this class that teaches Pokémon how to do that. I sat in on it once and it was pretty cool. Ha ha, makes me wish I was a Pokémon so I could try it out. I guess find one of them and ask if they can transform for you? Er, probably a male Pokémon, though.

Wow, I keep forgetting how famous Professor Oak is. I guess because I grew up in Pallet Town close to his lab that I didn't think about it. I hope you and your dad get to meet him!
