Support your rock stars!
We're all music fans here, and honestly, we wouldn't have this thing that we love without the creative genius minds of our favorite rock stars. However godlike they may seem to us, though, it's easy to forget that they are real people with real emotions and problems.
I have a personal plea for all of you. Today's Twitter posts from Yoshiki of X Japan illustrate quite plainly that these guys need to hear that we love and support them. Frankly, today's posts from his @YoshikiOfficial account are scarily suicidal. My plea is this: for all of you who have Twitter accounts, please pop over and send @YoshikiOfficial a message to let him know he has fans that support and love him. If you don't have Twitter, please consider reaching out via one of the other X Japan affiliated websites here. Without the men from X Japan, the visual kei music that we love wouldn't be what it is today. If he's having a hard time coping with life, we should remind him that love makes it worth living. Everyone, EVERYONE, needs love and support.
