For what it’s worth, this year I thought I’d do another year-in-visual-kei sort of summary for the past year. I dubbed 2011 as the Year of Visual Kei because for me, it was a year of discovery through music. I found a wealth of music and communities that made visual kei a big part of my life. This year, I think I’d call 2012 the Year of Change.

first of all i loooooveeeddd ypur post. and i fell a little like you.i know jrock for a while, i´m a lucky bastard that have seen two concerts of gackt and one of miyavi. but only this year i have meet the one´s that really change my life. Alice nine, this has been an horrible year, and songs like "birth in dead" and "mirroball" and "senkou", have save me of manythings!!besides alice i have discover gazette and i have discover other side of the bands, how much they have suffer to get where they are , and how much they suffer now , and they have give me hope to figth!!( about k-pop, im not going to say nothimg in my country everyone forgot japan and japanese culture just because k-pop).
i was really sad with the hiatus from versailles and suprise with SuG, not because i like their songs but because of their atittude. everyone know´s how bad is PSCompany (Aoi san is always complaining about it), and they had the guts to quit it becasue thy felt they were being cinical to them and their fans, and that it´s honorobale.
i just the next year brings peace and health and much happiness as they bring us.

I'm sorry you've had a difficult year, and I'm happy that music has helped make things better for you. Alice Nine is a wonderful band to like not only because their music is excellent, but also because the men themselves seem to be very good, positive, supportive people. They are very inspirational, and they care about their fans. I respect that very much.
I hope the popularity of K-pop doesn't make it too hard for you to find good Japanese music in your country. These bands are still writing some very good music, and it would be a shame to miss it!
And keep heart. I'm sure Versailles and SuG will return soon. Perhaps when SuG returns, you might find you like their music. I do recommend them. I think they are very smart and honorable for wanting to stay true to their musical vision for their fans. It shows they are serious about making good music.
Again, thank you for your comment. I wish you much luck and happiness in the New Year. ^^
