I like the tone of this (and the use of 'perforce'!)! It feels different to your usual 'voice', which makes an interesting change. And of course it makes for a lovely glimpse of life. :D

Trying to find a Spike-voice for 2018, when he's been with Buffy for 15 years and spent rather a lot of time with Giles! I think he's dropped a fair bit of the punky bravado, at least internally.
