“Was it hot doughnuts?” Buffy asks. This back-and-fourth is almost daily, and the answer is always whatever it is Dawn is using or looking at or doing at the moment. Dryer sheets and bobby pins and liquid soap and crab cakes with peanut butter.

“It was hot doughnuts!” Dawn agrees.

That was *so* Dawn! And such a Summers sisterly exchange. :)

I like that nobody's really worried, just keeping an eye (in some cases glaring) on things.

Local edit: Pier 39, rather than K-Dock. It could be Pier Anynumber, but the most tourists would be at 39 or 41. Therefore, those would be the most humiliating and the closest to doughnuts!

They're at Pier 39. (Hence the doughnuts and trampoline and proximity to the aquarium.) But Xander doesn't leave Pier 39, he just leaves the sea lion section, and I think their dock is K-Dock. If you can correct that, though, I will certainly be grateful.

Yeah, Spike... always something. The Scoobies must be used to it by now.
