Loved the ficlet, sweetie.

But Hmmm. I don't know. Faced with a choice between Buffy calling Angel for help or Buffy calling Riley for help, I think Spike would opt for Riley.

*g* I think Spike's sort of resigned to Angel recurring in his life. Vampires, Dru, Buffy, souls, they have a lot in common. Whereas Riley could just drop out of Spike's world and he'd be a lot happier. But whether Spike would admit that in a straight fight... not sure.

You know, I'd actually forgotten that line and its context - I had to google to track it down once it floated into my head earlier today. TKIM is so much not my favourite ep that I've obviously blocked out the fun Spuffy stuff. Must rewatch.

What's annoying is that the Spuffy in TKIM is brilliant, exactly the S7 stuff I like (communication, comedy, the expectation of doing things together), so I always forget about the Willow stuff. And then I force myself through it anyway...
