*showers you with bonus points*

This is excellent! Both in prompt response and message. :D I definitely find it very interesting the way Buffy binds herself in with more and more rules about what she's supposed to do as she gets older, when her basic principles starting out were 'kill the bad guys; don't break nails'. Spike is exactly the right person to redress the balance when she goes to far.

*nods* I was thinking of s7 Buffy for this, when she's all Wartime General, but it didn't quite give me the background I wanted.

Mmmm, shiny bonus points. Am I collecting for a set of tumblers or is it more of a karmic thing?

I think if you get enough you can send off for a Weetabix cereal bowl, spoon and plate at only £3.99 (P&P) or else a glass at £1.99 (P&P). But there's always a chance you might win a car.

Sweet!

And Oligarchical collectivism! I am so amused someone tackled that!

*g* Impossible to resist such a horrible prompt.

I suppose it should have been dark!fic, the boot stamping on a human face forever, but this amused me more.

I love that ending. And that you didn't use "We are the dead"!

Schmoop is good. ::sighs happily::

Thank you! Surprisingly many allusions one could feasibly use for this, but I felt like having fun with it.
