Oh, that is so very neat! I love the idea of young!William (and baby!Spike!!) as much as Buffy does. The idea of his godmother was charming enough but then for her to be a Watcher, too-! Very cool. I also like all the intimate gestures between Buffy and Spike. It took me a moment at the beginning to realize why they were under the tree, and then I was like, "duh"! Very nice to picture them there...

Oh, this is so lovely! In my happy fantasy fanon Spike's family always have something to do with the Watchers, and I love the idea that his godmother was one. Also love the sex-under-the-Christmas-tree tie-back to the Dead Things rugs. :D

Ooh! That was an entirely subconscious tie-back on my part, so thank you for pointing it out! That under-the-carpet scene is one of my favorites. It's so rare in canon we see Buffy & Spike both intimate and happy.
