(no subject)
Another week is over!
I'm going to my man's house for the weekend and that is what has pretty much sustained me this week.
I've worked a lot.
My kid is better.
I'm a good nurse...and I'm NOT a terrible mother. Obviously.
Today is busy.
Get the kid on the school bus in 15 minutes, go to work and change patients' wound vac dressings with Isabel the wound nurse for a few hours, run a few errands, come home and pack, pick the kid up a little early from school, take him to the nurse practitioner to get his ears checked, come home to get our stuff and the dog, drive halfway to Chicago, drop off the kid and the dog with the ex (who has since apologized for his nastiness by e-mail), and then drive to champaign to spend the weekend with the sweetest, most handsome and special man of all time.
