I took the long way home
So much has happened so I won't even try to recap it. Anyways, that's not really the point of this. It's to put thoughts on paper not every detail of my life. It's kind of crazy to think of the amount of life that has happened since my last entry 8 years ago. I am a lawyer now, have been for awhile. I have an interesting job and I work way too much (that was predictable) and I got married. To an American. Somehow also predictable. He doesn't make everything easy, or perfect. But he loves me just the way I am and he has the best smile, so it's kind of great actually. And I have made myself a promise that I will never take him for granted. I know that I easily could, but I don't think he would let me get away with any bullshit. Which is amazing. And best of all, he gives me peace of mind.
