I know there have been some leaked filming reports that have purportedly given clues about, for instance, River Song's identity, but I've successfully avoided them so far, so if any of my guesses turn out to be right, it'll be a coincidence! And yes, I'm also very much leaning towards number three as the most likely option. Mostly, because River has so many secrets by this point that it's completely believable this could be one of them. TBH though, Moffat has screwed with my head so much that I'm willing to believe anything while being skeptical of everything. And a part of me doesn't even want to speculate, because this 'verse is so difficult and complicated and it makes me cranky and achy to think about it for too long at a time. (I mean I am a bona fide nerd to the point where I laugh at math puns and convert Harry Potter currency to euro in my head, but time travel as a concept is out of my range) I just want to watch the show and be surprised and delighted. And quite possibly heartbroken.
Ugh, I don't even want to think about how this series is going to end, when so much mind-fuckery has already been established in the first two episodes.
