I've been writing for this one client pretty steadily for a few weeks now. He likes my work, and he pays consistently, so now I'm writing 20-30 articles per week which is decent, but I kept hoping I could snag another client like him to increase my income a little bit. I answered an ad for a client who needed an article written about something kind of specific which required me to do some research. This guy paid me immediately and then emailed me yesterday to say that the article gave him a great impression of my writing ability and my work ethic, since I got the article done right away, and that as of tomorrow, he is going to have a lot of work for me. Woohoo? Awesome news.
Simultaneously I've also been applying for jobs out there in the 'real world'. I'm looking at all kinds of opportunities, but right now it looks like something part time in the evenings and/or weekends will be the answer I'm looking for, in combination with the two steady writing clients I now have. I can write during the day and work in the evenings. Just this morning I saw an opening at the Sylvan Learning Center around here for Reading/Writing tutors. Um...hi? Me writer! Me good teacher. MUST HIRE ME!!!
It's a sunny Sunday; the kids are in the backyard playing with their friends and listening to Kidz Bop on the cd player that I hooked up for them on the patio. Sorry, neighbors! It's past time for you to be up, anyway!
I'm about to make them some lunch and then I think I'll do some serious yoga before I eat my own lunch. Bending, twisting, and contorting on a full stomach? Not recommended.
