Feeling Good!
Okay I had this long winded post... but decided to nip it.
Had a good weekend.
House sat for a friend. Craved the privacy. Was hoping Mr. History would roll thru; but it was ok he didn't... I was soaking up the quiet.
But her damn cat. In heat. Would not let me forget I was not quite alone.
Saturday nite... PM called to just "chit chat" - surprised me; since he had never called me on the weekend... (he may return a call - but not iniate) it was the first convo we had that set us back into our yakking groove... he absolutely had me cracking up on the bus ride up. His humor would be describe as a Mr Rogers kind of non chalant tone; that str8 face humor; but what he's saying is absolutely bananas.
Sunday we went to church. His old church; new church for me. (CCC) Gloria Gaynor was there; and gave a great testimony that touched us both in 2 different ways:
for me: she hit on the head with having no problem accepting there was God; who created all of this; but now you want me to accept this Jesus character too; human guy; who was walking around preaching.
Deep.
for PM: Gloria Gaynor being there was completly prophetic; her song was playing on the radio; the day he last saw his mother; lying there dead. He absolutely hated that song; and thought God was mocking him.
Deep.
Gloria renewed us both in two totally different ways.
Speaking of renewed. I joined a new gym. Aaaaah to have a steam room again.
My skin feels renewed.
