RAW's 15th Anniversary Special
RVD's one-time return honestly floored me. That was my "Fred Sanford Heart Attack" moment of the night. I was lucky I live on the ground floor, because I was bouncing off the walls marking out.
The other return cameo I enjoyed was Sunny. Sure, she's a little older with a tad more weight, but she's still gorgeous.
Also, I realize WWE honestly tried to work out a deal to get Bret Hart on the show. I understand that he declined. However, if I could've had one guy appear that hadn't, I would've loved to see Roddy Piper. Hell, Backlund was welcomed back for the battle royal, Matt Bourne reprised the Doink role, and Molly Holly came in for literally a quick hello. So why didn't Piper do anything?
All in all, it was a fun three hours of old-school goodness. I'm glad I taped over Jericho's return (yes, I still use a VCR).
I leave for VT in exactly a week. Before I go, I'm going to repost an old entry recalling my favorite Christmas memory. Some of you may have read it, but I feel it's worth posting again.
