My plan since the end of March has been to move to Greensboro, NC.
Lately, I've been worrying constantly about being able to pay my bills on the stipend from the internship.
Last night, the Event Coordinator at Buckners turned in his notice of resignation.
Tomorrow, I'm going to talk to the owner about taking over the soon-to-be open position.

Staying in Cape Girardeau is not my plan. But if I get offered this job (and, not to be overly confident or a braggart, but I'm pretty sure I will), I'll have better pay than in Greensboro, I'll be closer to my family, I'll have the opportunity to do freelance work (that's one of my stipulations), I'll get to keep Mason, I won't have to end the relationship that has been slowly growing between Brandon and I... and I won't even have to give up working in my field. Event Coordination is still my field. It's management, it's planning, it's creating a magic event out of nothing.

The only thing holding me back is how judged I'll feel by professors, peers, etc. for not leaving Cape and doing "real" theatre. But, financially, this is so much better for me. And geographically it doesn't hurt either. I think it's the smart move, because I've been freaking out about how I'm going to make ends meet in the near future. I already have an apartment lined up and everything, if I stay (one that includes ALL my utilities, including cable, for only $450 a month!).
