the break, and no 'net
ok, so i don't have any internet access here at home, but i'm at amy's right now and stealing some time on the 'net to feed my facebook/aims/livejournal addiction. been working at peterson's and that is good. i had a small christmas crisis regarding lee's christmas present. apparently there aren't any available within a 300 mile radius. final found one at circuitcity.com. hope that that isn't too good to be true. if i get an omnious email from them i will be BEYOND upset. i don't want to go do to work today, but i must admit that the check from t-giving break that i got yesterday made me very happy (and it even had some christmas presents that i had charged taken out of it.) it's so exciting to have money. moneymoneymoney!
am going to p's deb ball this weekend, but i am stopping by at sylv's deb par-tay on the way out of town. it's a sushi party. i don't like sushi. i will eat before i go. i am mostly planning on stopping by to say hey and then heading out. i have to work that afternoon, which sucks. going straight from work to jackson for par-tay, then to long beach for the ball. then back for more work. ugh. i am scheduled to work on christmas eve AND new year's eve. i don't know why. it's not as if anyone is going to be downtown on those days b/c everyone is going to assume that we'll be closed. BECAUSE WE SHOULD BE!!! hrmph. oh well it won't hurt my new year's plans w/lee b/c we're going to close early, so i'll be in s-ville by 6 at the latest. so that's not too horrible. AND working on christmas eve takes away from time i have to spend w/the fam here in v-town. which is OUTstanding.
mark and i decorated the house and attempted to make christmas cookies. we even put up lights. and it doesn't look to bad if i don't say so myself. and we didn't fight the whole time. it was a WHOLE afternoon of bonding and we didn't argue. i'm proud of us.
