This group drove me crazy.

A few weeks ago at work, i was teching a conference, figured it would be pretty simple, but these people had loads of power point presentations and lacked the skills to use them...so did i, but with 5 mins to spare in the morning i managed to figure out how to assemble all the presentations into one seamless file so the speakers could just step right up and hit the advance button and get right to it(half of them didnt know how to do that).
Day 1 was full of changes though so all my hard work was thrown out the window and i had to spend all my breaks/lunch setting up the next people and updating their slides
11 hours later my day was finally done.
Day 2 was a little less stressful for me, as i hounded the presenters to have their updates ready and finalized before lunch.
It's was actually not my job to assemble these slides together, it was coordinators job, but he had ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE how to do any of that.
Most of them dont understand how microphones work, so i was busy with the mixer trying to keep them loud enough, but feedback free.
11 hours later my day was done...at least i got to eat half my subway sammich.
By the sounds of the following email i received, my hard work didnt go unnoticed as per usual.

Subject: Bravo - Many thanks

THANK YOU to everyone who played a role in making the BC Hydro - Pulp &
Paper Efficiency Conference a memorable and successful event for our clients
and the attendees.

J***e D****h with BC Hydro commented continuously throughout the conference
and upon checkout that their usual choice is the Westin Bayshore; however,
they were "blown away" by the friendly & welcoming service and we are their
new hotel of choice. She also made a point of saying that this has been
this division's best conference ever.

Additionally, their planner sent the following comments via email:

"Many thanks to you and the Fairmont staff for putting on a terrific event
for BC Hydro. All your staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The
hotel looked beautiful and I still can’t get over how impeccably clean the
hotel is. Tim and Mike at Sharp AV were also a great team. I hope to work
with you on future events together."

Bravo and congratulations on truly winning this client over!"
