Well hello again~
So it's been years - literally I'm pretty sure -- since last I made an entry here (too lazy to go back and check, I'll find out when this posts anyhow right?) and since I'm hopping about, seems like a decent time to make a post. So hi to all old and new friends and if you're still alive/on LJ at times, comment because why not and I'm online just as much as ever~
Current problem: More or less obsessed with Avengers (fanfiction), particularly Tony/Steve and the worstworstworst thing about being back into a fandom that isn't eons old (since the fics I'm reading are pretty movie-verse), unlike my classic favorite fandom of Weiss is that fics aren't bloody finished. Well some are. But here I am, happily reading a fic that's a few chapters in and I'm like "sweet, almost done!" and then I realize that NOPE there's more to come and goddamnit. Left out to dry.
On the other hand I guess that just makes me want to write more, but that's also a symptom of AnimeNorth which I got back from last weekend. And it was awesome. And also kill me but whatever. Did a ton of panels and saw less friends than ever for an AnimeNorth but hey, overflowing Sherlock panel room was pretty boss though yeah, I admit it, I was a quiet panelist and mybad. Though I was told later I said what needed to be said so hurrah for that!
Since the start of this 2012 year, I began to log the books I completed reading. Just the ones from Jan 1 that is, if I tried to log all the books ever I think I might cry because it would be painful and hard to remember and hunt down titles are authors and all those glorious-terrible things. But 55 books by the end of May this year so accomplishments!
And zero accomplishments on the finding-a-summer-job front which super sucks and is kinda discouraging but well, what-can-you-do-but-keep-trying... I think I'm detecting that I have a new writing style than my old one. Okay then. Works for me, hope it flies when I get to finishing fics. Because I have a problem with that, the finishing part. I love starting fics and writing the middle sections but the end? Usually problematic. Unless it's PWP in which case it's pretty obvious that hey, they came, they're cuddling/aftercare whatever and end it on something cute or adorable!snark or a comic twist~
Anyhow, maybe I'll start posting more frequently again and if not...oops! <3
