Total Health Show!
Whee! Today I went to the "Total Health Show" at the Metro Convention Center in Toronto. Though I had to get up early it was fun! Originally, I wasn't planning on going this year but since mom dragged dad along, he said I had to come too ^^;; So we left the house at about 9:30am and considering I went to bed at about 2:40am I slept in the car.
Arriving at about 10:30 we listened to a lecture whose focus was on yoga. The guys presenting did an interesting demo and MAN were they built! But it was almost distubing to see how they isolated some of the ab muscles and made it work in circles to massage in internal organs *shudder* you could see it move and I guess I'm just not used to seeing men's stomachs looking like a girl's during extreme tentacle hentai *whimpers*
But getting off that subject, I'll say that the show was excellent as usual and had lots of yummy samples, and many that were superb for one's health! I attended two other talks, one about minerals by the author of the book "Dead Doctors Don't Lie" and another by a spirit/angel medium who can speak to animals as well, it was so eat! And her bunny was adorable!
A bit later after circling the place and greeting the people I knew at the "Love at First Touch" booth (selling emu oil and other wonderful products *love*), WIN (Women's International Networking) and KarmicDNA booth (if any of you know of this, you're fortunate indeed! Rose Syaoran is awesome and so nice ^__^). T
hen while mom went off to hear another lecture I had an Ionic Footbath done (just like ladyofshadow did before if I remember right..) I didn't bring my camera else I would post the photo of the result but I guess I'll just have to describe it. For the first 1-20min the footbath was only orange with a bit of stuff floating at the top and a few flecks of black (detoxing joints and lymphatic system), then for the last 10min it began to turn more dark green and icky. Not something people wanna drink for sure! So apparently, it got those toxins from my liver and gall bladder. Neat! It was so cool to watch! And the people there were sooo nice! I got a vague explanation as to how it worked too (detailed would probably lose me ^^;;).
Then after the show we went downto Missisauga Chinatown to the Vietnamese restaurant "88" for dinner, yumm! Spring rolls there are good! Then we went home ^____^ And I posted this :P Maegan has no more to say...about this subject now at least! And off to sleep for her! *Yes, I do speak in third person at times ^_~*
