I can't help but comment on this emotional snapshot you've written. Generally speaking I won't read "angst", but raw, honest pain tightly written in an all-too-believable context can hardly be called "angst." As much I love crack, porn, relationship twists, and all the rest of it...all that stuff becomes disconnected silliness if it's not rooted in the basic fact of the fandom, which is--->these men are shinobi. Any relationships and silly-relax time they might have would be struggling to grow under the shadow of situations exactly like this one that you wrote with such painful clarity.
I'm sure the RP group decision had more to do with the ~fit~ of your writing to their purposes, rather than the quality, because the quality is obviously very high. I hope RPing works out well for you, but I also hope you develop and write your own storylines and plots. I don't follow Naruto that much anymore, but maybe you'd be writing some Kotetsu? ^^;; Maybe some Katekyo Hitman Reborn??? =D

I don't mind it anymore - my app being turned down. Mainly because I think you are right in the fact that it may not have been the best 'fit' for me. Since I'm really just getting back into writing, I simply want to have fun with it right now...take time re-discovering my own style and mannerisms. The RP, while filled to hte brim with outstanding writers, would not have provided me with the room for unstructured experimentation. Maybe someday in the future I'll try again, but for now, I prefer the RP's I am in - especially 404. It's unique, fun, and gives me all the freedom to try different things that I want.
Not to everyone there has been absolutely wonderful to write with! And since you mentioned Ko...his little adventure with the Captain is up there on 404 now. I plan to try my hand at several different characters...though all roads eventually lead back to Iruka! ~.^
As a matter of fact...I'm putting one I wrote about Izumo up here shortly. It's a slightly dark, introspective piece so I hope you enjoy it!
And I'll have to check out the Hitman Reborn...I haven't gotten around to reading it you. Mind if I friend you?
