not dead, don't worry
Hey all, just thought I'd update you briefly.
I'm not dead yet, don't worry :).
That last message was a bit of a downer I know, I had a lot going on all at once and it was a smidge over-whelming but it's over now.
Basically I had a huge blow out wih my mom (about patrick, of course) I hadn't spoken to the man in about two years other than to occasionally ask if my mom was home when I called, and when I finally agree to talk with him the first thing he does is tell me he thinks I'm a piece of shit, then proceeds to antagonize me for forty minutes culminating, when I'm so distraught I can barely stand, in him telling me that "You're a very angry person, I can tell" and then telling me I am allowed no further contact with my mother. Which needless to say didn't go over very well. Then my aunt died, she had breast cancer and it was a long time coming, and my dad didn't want me to go to her funeral because I'd miss work, which I don't think anybody wants to hear when they have to go to a funeral. Anyway, I went and so did my mom and we patched things up but I was really freaked out cause my mom had this whole other version of what patrick had said to me, even though she was standing right next to him at the time. Freaky, she's totally brain washed.
Anyway, things are okay with us now and my wisdom teeth are pretty much healed, not sick anymore either (that, I can tell you, is a truly shitty combination. flu + wisdom teeth removal = misery )
Oh! And I might be starting school soon!!!!!!!
Which is a very, very good thing, I'm wicked excited, originally I'd hoped to have all of the tuition saved up before I went but that'll take foreverand if I go now I might qualify for a grant which is pretty friggin' awesome.
Oh well, *shrug* there's worse things than student loans, and I already have about half of my tuition saved up so it wouldn't be that big of a loan. And I'm a pretty diligent little saver so I can probably pay it off reasonably quick. I've also got a bit of money coming to me that my mom set aside. It's about eight hundred dollars which isn't a ton but every little bit helps (there was more at the begining of the year but she drank it. )
Well, more on school later, have to go now, thanks for all the love and support on my last post.
