friggin' UPS guy

WAIT - before I start bitching, I got a job at chapters *woo, another bookstore :)*
And I just got off my first training day :)

K, so I've mentioned this but I don't think I ever did an actual post about it so I'll refresh -

I'm a comic addict (duh) rather an obsessive one too, I have a list that I have sorted, categorized, grouped by author and arranged by preference and of course have to constantly update cause I never stop buying them. Anyway, there's a few comics that I've been looking forward for years but naturally they're from small publishers, relatively unknown and have been out of print for about 12 years now. *the series is Murder can be Fun, by the by* Anyway, I finally wound up ordering them from the publishers *woo* and they're on their way! Or rather, I'd have them right now except I missed the stupid UPS guy by like 20 seconds, literally. He came by at like 9am, and at first I thought it was the phone ringing so I didn't bother to get it cause normally it's just telemarketers and if it's important they'll leave a message but half way through I realize it's actually somebody buzzing the get in from downstairs which I think is really odd cause I don't live very close to any of my friends and they're not really drop-in-unanounced types anyway. So I get the phone just in time form them to disconnect so I go to my window to see if I can see who it is when they leave the stairs and I notice a UPS truck outside so I realize it must be one of my packages so I bolt downstairs - messy hair, pajamas, no keys, the whole she-bang - but by the time I get their they're gone *swearing* Anyway, so to cut a long and frustrating story short I wind up calling the company and they'll try again monday some time between 8am and 8pm (twelve hour window, nice, what am I just not supposed to do anything that day?) but this time their sending it to my step-sister Gina's cause she'll be home all day and I didn't know if I'd be working that day or what - turns out I'm not - so I'm going to go over there sometime in the morning to wait with her so she won't be lonely.
Gah, that's irritating, I want them now. Oh well, soon.

*****UPDATE****
They came! I have them! Woo! The guys forgot to send me a new catalog but who cares, I got my comics!!!!! *deep breath* Ok, calm down. Yep, everything went off without a hitch, the UPS guy came at like 1-1:30 or so so I actually had some time to do other stuff today (mainly watching slasher flicks - what can I say, I'm weird :D)
Hmm....what else...OH! Ok so it was raining here, all day/everyday since the begining of march when suddenly about a week ago, when we were a mere one centimetre (less than half an inch) from breaking the record for most rain in a single month, which was set like 70 years ago or something, it just stops and it's been pretty much beautiful here since except today, totally randomly, it started snowing I shit you not. Middle of frigin' spring *shakes head* wow.
That about it from me right now, I'm going half out of my mind looking for a book I want, it was published in 2005 so you'd think it would still be pretty easy to find but I think it must have been a really small publisher cause nobody has it and now it's out of print. I checked amazon for a used copy and some places it's up to like 60-70$ - yeah, not paying that for a seven dollar paperback.
Oh well, I'm happy :)

- I've decided, and I am so fighting the urge on this right now, should I ever run a personals ad it'll go like this:

Horror flick chick seeks someone to make her scream -
Come be my jason Voorhees.

*laughs* I'm so friggin' weird :D
