[Sealed to: Hawke, Anders, Aara, Riku, Zhaneel]
[Yes he is still sealing things to Zhaneel. His handwriting looks much better than his last post, very close to his normal hand]
Looks like that might've been a false alarm. I've been getting better, seems like most of my symptoms are gone.
[He's just not going to mention the hallucinations and

[And yes, Riku is going to be headed over to visit Varric now. And do you know what he's carrying with him? Do you?
No. No, you don't. Because Riku is carrying a bottle of ale with him, as well as a cup from the stable tower. Since that walk was too long and all.
He lets himself into the chapel, casting a glance around for Varric.]
Varric, are you in here?
Reply
Over here, Silver.
[His voice is hoarse, but better than it'd been a little bit ago. He hasn't quite noticed what Riku's carrying yet, but he'll be elevated up to one of Varric's favorite people when he does.]
Reply
I figured since you never made it over there yourself...
Reply
Well, look at you. Coming to check in on me and bearing gifts. I'm speechless.
[Except, no, he's really not. But he is pretty damn pleased. Yeah, definitely one of his favorite people.]
Reply
I find that hard to believe.
[Sit back down, Varric. You don't need to be up and about quite yet. Once close enough, Riku's going to pass over the cup and the ale, taking a seat of his own.]
What happened?
Reply
He chuckles briefly.]
Stranger things have happened.
[Yeah, yeah, he's sitting back down, after he takes the bottle and cup.]
Just started getting better. Passed through some of the worse symptoms that Bishop woman mentioned, but they faded.
[He's still not feeling completely back to himself, but he's a damn sight better than he had been. Aside from lingering aches, worse he has now is that he's still finding it harder to think clearly.]

[He's glad. Riku knows that people can come back from death, but it still makes him uneasy.]

Looks like. Guess I can add it to the list, though I have to say it's not exactly the most impressive thing I've fought off.
[He's still holding on to the ale, but he hasn't made to open it, as though he knows he doesn't want to let it go but can't quite remember what he was going to do with it.]
Would've been nice to have more details on what this thing was. Preferably before something like this happened.

[Riku isn't saying anything about that ale, but he -is- wondering privately what's going on. But who knows, maybe he's just decided for one reason or another that he doesn't want to partake just yet.
But it's odd.]
That doctor gave some of the details on what it is in her post. Things would've been much better if she'd mentioned it from the start, though. Maybe it wouldn't have spread so much.

Nah. I save that for the truly special occasions. People're much more impressed when you tell them you fought off a horde of giant spiders than that you overcame a sickness.
[There's a long pause, as if he's thinking about that, though aside from a frown, his expression is mostly blank. Then he blinks and shakes his head again.]
Yeah. Probably the kind of thing you should warn about, if you know it could happen. Then you won't have to resort to making threats about hunting people down.
[He's still bitter about that. Hasn't lessened at all with Zhaneel's death.]
Didn't see anything in there about recovering, either.

[Riku trails off, noticing Varric's blank look. But then the other man continues.]
...Are you sure you're all right?
[Because Riku's beginning to have his suspicions.]

That's what it's all about. Making a good story.
[He frowns at the question, taking stock of his symptoms. They're - pretty much all gone, actually.]
Yeah. I'm good. Feel better than I have since the party. Just - gonna stretch my legs a bit.
[Varric stands, moving with much more ease than he has in awhile, and steps out of the alcove.]
Reply
That's good to hear. Maybe if we're lucky, everybody else will recover quick, too.

[There's a hint of pain in his voice that he should've done a better job of hiding. But he's not really too concerned about that, because there's also anger. Or maybe anger isn't the right word. Varric's felt angry before, felt violent, surrounded by blood, but this?]
Silver, I think you need to leave.
Reply
But it's not like he plans to run away, either.]
What is it? What's going on?
Reply
[He's already lost Feathers, Birdie's out there somewhere hallucinating, he more than likely passed this Andraste-cursed thing on to Blondie, the last thing he wants to do is get Silver hurt.
And he's losing control.]
