I planned a pumpkin patch/carving day which had a great turn out this year. From last year when three of us carved pumpkins to twelve this year. Woot! We met at Majid's and eventually made it to the pumpkin patch. Everyone looked for their "perfect" pumpkin.
After we got back to the apartment everyone seemed pretty excited to carve pumpkins although not everyone was sure what they were going to carve. Sitting around under the trees ripping out pumpkin guts and carving randomness into pumpkin was fabulous. Watching everyone enjoy themselves and everyone getting along makes it worth it for me. Maybe I'm easy to please?
Thanks to everyone who came, you made my day. And a big thanks to Majid and John for letting us use their apartment! I want to make this a annual event, so anyone who didn't come this year make sure to come next year!
