I have to say, I love the commercial from the Barclay-owned iShares. I think it's only thirty seconds, but it shows cuts of people writing on post-it notes, jotting something down in a taxi, working against the glass of a revolving door as they walk in and out and in and out of building, writing on their hands, writing on a pad in the rain, writing as they walk across the street, filling notebooks and trash paper and body parts and whatever they have that is blank with whatever it is that is so urgent to them at that very moment. The ad was made for a broker/bank, but it seemed to strike a much clearer note for those of us who feel like they think of a million things every day that need to be written down before they are forgotten. Who hasn't had such a singular or insightful thought that they almost wreck their car looking for a napkin to write it down on? I wish I had a link to the video - I checked google and youtube and couldn't find it anywhere.
In other news, I did a self-google-scan today to see if anything compromising (namely, this) came up. Wouldn't want the Marines thinking I'm some bleeding-heart liberal or something.
