I was named after a soap opera.

My mom and dad were super fans of the 80s soap Dallas. They named me after the main character's wife, Sue Ellen Ewing.
Hindi ako natutuwa na they didn't even think about it. They said they were supposed to name me Pamela. Another character. Anobaaa....
I've only seen one episode of this soap opera and that was eons ago.
I just remember that JR Ewing, the main guy, was Über-rich and he (or his family?) owned an oil company in Texas and he's got all these lovers and whatever.
My mom was saying yesterday that she saw in the news that they're planning a movie version of this soap. Kala ko stir.

It might star Brad Pitt and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
