Last night, my good friend Kris took me out.
Yey! For the first time in 5 days...naka-yosi na rin ako!!!
We went to this Groove Dance Competition in Blacktown and I've never seen so many Pinoys in one place!
I had no idea Pinoy kids here are so into hiphop dancing! Kris, who never used to dance, is also in a group called Equinox. His girlfriend, Christina,
who's a dead-ringer for Bea Alonzo diba, is also part of a dance group...and she sings! I feel so un-Pinoy cos I have no talent whatsoever! Nakakahiya.
There was this white dude na friend nila who asked me, "so what's your talent?" and I go, "nothing." He said, "nothing? But you're Filipino! That's impossible!" The Pinoys here either sings or dances or plays a musical instrument. I don't really do any. =(
But all of Kris' friends who are Filipinos are really nice to me naman! We ate at a Filipino restaurant after the show called The Basement...naalala ko tuloy 6 Under...and there were probably 10 of us, 4 girls and 6 guys and I thought we'd go drinking and all...ngeh...ako lang ang nag-beer! Hello! At ang mahal ng San Mig Light ha! $6!!! Php250!!! NOOOOO!!!
Kris' friends were pimping me to the white dude agad! His name is Rob. He's payat na naka-braces na blonde and blue eyed na kinda dorky-looking. Pinatabi pa sakin and was making him talk to me! Kawawa naman kasi he looked so uncomfortable. Although mabait naman sya and he's in an R&B group with one other white guy and 2 Pinoys. Vegetarian pa sya so he couldn't eat what the Pinoys ordered...sisig, menudo, arroz caldo, calamares...kawawa naman! Tapos his guy friends were pressuring him to get my number daw. E sige, text me sa number ko from Pinas! Haaay...
Anyway, that's bout it.
Nakakatawa pa pala, we went to the Olympic Park in the afternoon and there was an end of season sale ng winter stuff. Mga rugs, ski/snowboarding stuff, leather jackets, shoes..etc..
We went to this warehouse na puro leather jackets and all 5 of us bought one each! Hahaha! Para kaming biker family! But it's super nice kasi and cheap! Real Lamb Leather for only $200! I bought a nice black one. My mom got a baby pink one and I also like it. =) Lagot kami sa PETA.
