I don't know who you are. . .But to me you sound like a sales representitive and I really do NOT appreaciate that on my page. Moreover, though I agree that it is amazing how far we have come over the years and what have you. Let us not forget the classics and the stepping stones to our future. Just because digital is moving in and pushing out film doesn't mean that it's better. Personall DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY IS WORSE! It's amature work. Because anyone can go out, snap a shot and make it look good because of photoediting tools now!

Back when I first picked up a camera, we had to LEARN how to get the lighting, timeing and exposure just right. Not to mention capturing the subject perfectly. I have 2 digital cameras and 3 film. One of those being an SLR that was purchased back in 1994. And to this day, I still prefer it to digital.

I don't anticipate or worry about the future, remember that old saying "Que Sera Sera"? I love to develop film. That was the best experiance in my photography life to date. And I will never take for granted my time using a pin hole camera. . .

So please, keep your sales talk and your ignorance to yourself. Instead of wasting my time, go outside and try to appreciate all the things you take for granted.

i can't agree with you more! even though i shoot mainly digital these days, i still hold to my film roots. anyone can be a 'photographer' these days with the technology, but it's knowing why and how photography is possible is what sets us apart. i admire your stance and i stand by you on it! and of course the bastard who wrote the comment is anonymous. fucking capitalist salesman. i often wonder how much people on here really know the essence of photography. ^5 sofia!
