So last night I watched Kaiji - The Ultimate Gambler, a movie more or less designed to suck in fans of Death Note because it claims to reunite the cast. Basically it's Tatsuya Fujiwara, 15mins of Ken'Ichi Matsuyama and what's her name who played Naomi in Death Note.
However it was a very good movie, the kind that actually keeps my interest from start to finish which are actually quite rare these days.
Although I did spend like every 10mins going, oh Tatsuya's throwing another hissy fit, to my friend on IM. Everyone always writes him off as a bad actor because he does that but with him I tell you he has it down to a fine art, especially if you watch Sabu. He spends the majority of Sabu getting the shit kicked out of him but they got some amazing shots of his eyes in those scenes and they speak volumes without him doing his usual yelling and screaming.
And admitedy I do have a tendency to drool over him and Ken'Ichi *only without that disturbing facial hair he had in Kaiji* so think what you will of that one...
Now just waiting for Ken'Ichi's, Kamui - The Lone Ninja to come in *rubs hands*
