Juri is a Cutie~
So while waiting impatiently Thursday afternoon for a torrent of Last Friends to appear, I finally decided to check out Nodame Cantabile. Only because 3 of the Last Friends' cast are also in it. And after having seen Waratte Iitomo, I was really drawn to Ueno Juri. Fans have praised her for being a chameleon when it comes to getting into character and such. So if anything, I decided to check out Nodame for Juri's sake. She is amazing. I could not believe that the tomboyish one I saw on Waratte Iitomo was once this cute, eccentric pianist. What a change! But I freaking love the drama. It is hilarious! Nodame is so cute. And I don't usually like "young adults with childish behaviors." Hagu, from Honey and Clover, epecially annoyed me. Come on, you're a college student. Grow up! But Nodame didn't annoy me like Hagu did. I found her to be so charming and cute. Juri did a superb job as Nodame. I'm in complete awe of her talent.
So yeah, Ryo isn't the only reason for me to watch Last Friends anymore. Ooh, speaking of these two. And just because I love finding connections and stuff. They were in Teru Teru Kazoku together. I haven't even seen that drama, but they both probably had small roles and probably didn't have any scenes together at all. But I wonder if they remember each other from drama...
I was going to write some opinions about the first episode of Last Friends, but I'll wait until I see it with subs. For now, I'll just say one thing. What a kiss! >_< I swear that Masami is one lucky chick to have kissed Pi and Ryo! But I'm so upset about this being Ryo's first on-screen kiss. It was suppose to be with Aya in the Attention Please SP2 Australia. Yep, I'm still wishing for RyoxAya. ^^
