One of these days, I will finally declare this journal DEAD. But not yet. So what's changed during the past 7 months?
RyoPi leaving NEWS. A little saddened that I lost my RyoPi via NEWS, but let's be honest, you kind of saw coming. I do wish the best of luck to NEWS, Pi, Ryo, and K8 in everything they do. Oh, and yes I'm following Ryo's Papa wa Idol. This drama has made me realize how proud I am of him. I think back on the many years he's taken on smaller, supporting roles. This is his 3rd, maybe 4th time leading a drama. And it's as the idol Nishikido Ryo! I'm proud of him! <3
As for non-fandom aka real life changes, I've got some good stuff going on.
A promotion at work! Instead of my usual nights and weekends, I'll be switching to M-F, 9-5 workdays as Merchandise Coordinator. I've been voluntarily doing the job as coordinator for years (due to my knowledge and experience), but the position itself has finally become available to me. Starting in June, baby!
With me switching to those days and hours, I'll be working more often with D, the crush I've been trying to get over. And because I was having trouble getting over him, I used to never to want to see or work with him. But about 2 months ago, I realized that working with him is the KEY to getting over him. I was finally starting to get past the awkwardness that I've always felt ever since I confessed to him. And getting past that awkwardness, I was starting to be "normal" again with him. By normal, I mean snarky and sarcastic. So I'm on the road to recovery, and it's relieving. Being in "like" with him was hurting my heart a little bit. It feels good to be getting over him.
I've got a trip planned for Florida at the end of June with my sister. We're taking our high school graduating nieces with us as their graduation and 18th birthday presents. It's not as great as Hawaii as we had done for our eldest niece, but hey, we can't exactly afford that this year. Plus I also got to start saving for our trip to Japan sometime within the next 2 years or so.
Lastly, it's the AVENGERS opening weekend! I already know I want to see this more than twice, lol. The first time will be for my honey Chris Hemsworth who is simply divine. Pun intended because, you know, he's Thor, lol. The second will be for Chris Evans, a fellow Bostonian...ish. Well near the area anyways. And the third time will be for the kick-ass movie itself! I. CANNOT. WAIT. TO. SEE. THIS.
